Airborne dust particles translate into loss of soil and an increased likelihood of higher levels of sedimentation, water pollution, traffic accidents and respiratory problems.

In the absence of optimal construction dust control, a work environment can become inhospitable, contributing to respiratory health problems both onsite and in areas struck by windborne dust. And, of course, always present is the potential of serious fines if a job site does not meet the environmental open-air dust control regulations set forth by local, state and federal regulations.

Dust suppression and periodic unpaved road maintenance are normally combined. For unpaved road applications, products applied and mixed into the road surface usually work better than if simply applied to the surface.
